Through our employee interface, employees can see where they are in the process and what additional steps are needed.
Through our custom employer interface, employers may view the progress of their verification. An employee review tool also allows the leadership team to view the status of individual employees.
Documentation can be uploaded through our online employee interface, faxed, or sent by first-class mail.
The verification process is flexible, but on average, the verification process takes 30-60 days.
Through an optional extension process, we provide employees with more time to complete verification. An extension window can be anywhere from 15-60 days depending on the situation.
Through an appeals process, employees have the opportunity to resubmit documentation that proves their relationship with their “ineligible” dependent and have that dependent reinstated. An appeals process can take anywhere from 15-60 days.
Typically employees will need to provide the type of documentation required to evidence relationships between employees and dependents. Birth certificates, tax forms and marriage certificates are common examples of acceptable documentation.
Verifi1 can answer all your questions throughout the verification process through Q&A, online chat and our contact support center.
Every employee who has a dependent on the employer’s health care coverage is required to participate in the verification process and submit documentation for each of his or her dependents.
